Requirements
Candidate must be a graduating high school senior who will attend college this Fall. Candidate must be of Asian descent associated with EITHER Lincoln Square Recreation Center, or Lincoln Elementary School. Award recipients or a representative MUST attend the online Zoom or in-person presentation at Chinese Presbyterian Church of Oakland's sister church, located at 890 Fargo Avenue in San Leandro, during the worship service on June 21, 2026 starting at 10:30 am. One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a student who serves the community and set goals to benefit the Asian American community.
Selection Criteria
- Community volunteer service
- Participation in school, extracurricular activities, and/or employment experience
- Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA

- Demonstrated leadership in school and/or community related activities
- Unusual circumstances, if any (i.e. health or financial need, etc.)
